Trisha Murphy, the eldest of two children, grew up in Diamond Bar, CA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton, and has over 20 years of experience in diversified asset management, focusing on real estate. Alongside her professional career, she has pursued endeavors in marketing, law, and community engagement.
In December 2018, Trisha was appointed to the Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Arts Commission, and was voted as Vice Chair in January 2022. She has served on the School Site Council at Hopkinson Elementary and Oak Middle School, represented the Los Alamitos Unified School District Human Relations Task Force, and most recently, served as a Director for the Los Alamitos Community Foundation. Additionally, she contributed to the creation of programs and services designed to enhance safety and student services for the Los Alamitos Unified School District.
Trisha is a dedicated servant leader and Rotarian with a passion for community activism. Her decades of operation experience in asset management, combined with her political science background, fuel her commitment to public service and leadership, ensuring a vibrant and thriving future for Los Alamitos.
A resident of Los Alamitos for several years, Trisha along with her husband, Damien, a Deputy Probation Officer is raising three children. Their eldest daughter is set to graduate from Dartmouth College next year, while their younger fraternal twins are sophomores at Los Alamitos High School. With the exemplary academic achievements of the Los Alamitos Unified School District, Trisha is confident in her children’s aspirations to attend Ivy League universities.

With years of experience in traffic enforcement, accident response, and public safety, He consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to protecting the public and upholding the law. Officer Ware remains a trusted figure in the Los Alamitos community.
Officer David Hainley served as a Field Support Officer in law enforcement for over 11 years before his retirement. With extensive experience supporting police operations, Officer Hailey was committed to ensuring the safety and efficiency of officers in the field. His dedication to public safety and his professionalism made him a vital part of the team throughout his career. Officer Hailey is enjoying his well-earned retirement as a proud resident of Los Alamitos.
Assistant Fire Chief Dean McGuire served with the Los Angeles County Fire Department for 35 years, overseeing a team of over 500 employees. He is well-known and highly respected by many throughout the community.
Officer Edward Chen has proudly served as a Custody Assistant with the Sheriff’s Department for five years. In this role, he supports the safety and well-being of inmates while assisting deputies in maintaining a secure environment. With a dedication to public service, Officer Chen is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism within the department.
Officer Ian Branch has served with the Sheriff’s Department for 17 years. He currently holds the position of Military and Veterans Affairs Liaison Deputy, where he dedicates his efforts to supporting and advocating for military personnel and veterans.
